The Orange Retro 50 Custom Shop head is a hand-wired amp, built in the UK.

The wiring internally is impeccable.  Everything inside and out is top notch.  Take a look at the switches inside the chassis for instance.  They are beefy, industrial strength parts that are sure to stand the test of time.

The amps appear to be either rare or popular, or both.  There just aren't that many out there.  This makes sense when you consider the incredible tone and the build quality.

Pure British EL34 rock tones are what you can expect from the amp, but the clean sound is superior as well.

There is a switch on the side of the chassis that you can reach by removing the back panel that allows the amp to be used on 120 or 240 volt power.

Overall, the amp is in excellent condition with some wear here and there on the cabinet and control panel.  The handle looks rough but is 100% solid.  The rubber outer part of the handle is worn, showing the metal strap beneath.

This amp will definitely be a sought after vintage item one day - it is just built for it.
