This Don Musser dreadnought is a work of art with huge, brilliant tone.

Don's guitars are pretty rare.  He still builds, but he only puts out about a dozen guitars per year.  A guitar like this might take a couple of years to get directly from him, to the tune of about $10,000.

The finest woods and inlays were used on this guitar: German spruce on the top and the best Brazilian back and sides, bound in maple.

It is a stunning piece in person.  The  wide abalone rosette really jumps out at you, and the torch headstock inlay is beautiful as well.

The braces aren't scalloped, but it sure sounds like they are.  I can't imagine how good this instrument will sound down the road as it continues to age.

The 1 3/4" nut width makes it super comfortable to play.

The previous owner took great care of the guitar.  The frets show little wear, and the same goes for the body and neck.

There are no changes, cracks, or repairs.  There is a chip out of the bridge saddle that doesn't affect playability.  Speaking of the saddle, it seems a hair low, but playability is good so we aren't going to mess with it.  Check the action specs - it seems to be just about perfect to us.  There is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustment.

A truly fantastic guitar that'll knock you out, sonically speaking!
