Gibson LG-2 3/4 size Acoustic Guitar - 1950
$2,750.00No sales tax for customers outside California.
This LG-2 is a 3/4 size version that makes for one of the greatest couch guitars ever built.
The guitar is crack free and overall is in excellent cosmetic condition. Tuners are changed to modern repro Klusons with no change to the headstock.
I assume that the frets have been replaced at some point because the fretboard shows more wear than the frets do.
The bridge has been reglued. The original bridge plate is intact.
The neck needs a reset to provide full enjoyment, but we've left room in the price so you can get the work done by your favorite luthier. If it sits for a while we'll get the reset done and the price will adjust accordingly.
The original case is included, showing some significant wear.
This will be a lovely addition to your space - a beautiful piece of Gibson craftsmanship that you can hang on display and grab when those creative moments hit you.
