This is the most beautiful and stunningly clean example of a 50s Martin 000-18 that you'll ever find.

The guitar was an estate purchase, a literal closet queen that hid for years and years until it came to us.

The guitar needed a neck reset on arrival, so we shipped it off to our guy, who has done almost 30 neck resets for us.  He killed it.  A new saddle was made at the same time.

The guitar plays perfectly.  The original frets showed virtually zero wear on arrival, so they were left alone.  Look at the original tuners, how clean they are.  The coloration of the finish is pretty stunning, likely very close to what you'd see if you were looking at this guitar in the music store back in the 50s.

Other than the reset and saddle, the guitar is all original with no issues whatsoever.

Unlike other Martin guitars that arrive here without much play on them, this one sounds absolutely fantastic.  With some use it is sure to open up even more.

Non-original hard case included, from the 1960s.  There is some house paint on the outside of the case, on the bottom.
