Washburn New Model 1897 Style Brazilian Rosewood 1900s Natural Refin

Someone spent a lot of time and money restoring this early 1900s Washburn parlor guitar.
One of a few new adds to the website in this genre. Like the rest, this is an extremely fun and comfortable guitar to play. I can sit here in my easy chair with big arms and strum away with ease, and get a guitar massage at the same time - this thing really rings!
Restoration includes: a refret, a neck reset, a new bridge, a new nut, replaced wood binding on the lower back, and a complete refinish. Three top cracks were also repaired long ago. The back and sides appear to be completely free of cracks.
The top has less than the standard belly between the bridge and the endpin, with a little concave action around the soundhole. The top is stable however, and the guitar is standing up to silk and steel strings. The tuners are original.
These turn-of -the-century guitars all have big V necks. I love em!
Modern chipboard case included.
