This 1960 Princeton 5F2-A knocked me out when I got it on my bench for inspection. I didn't know what to expect regarding the speaker, figuring I'd need to swap it for something else. I was wrong! It is a great match for the amp, allowing for the classic tweed breakup.
Overall, the amp is quite clean. The circuit is largely original as well, and the original transformers are in place. A grounded power cable was installed prior to arrival here, and two of the filter caps have been updated as well. The original caps and one of the original preamp tunes are included.
The grille, tweed and handle are all original. The screen printing is nicely intact on the control panel, which does show some pitting.
A great sounding amp that has seen the service you want to see.
