This 1965 Fender Princeton Reverb is one of those good ones that have seen plenty of use and shine on.
The amp is a transitional model of sorts, late enough in 1965 to get the Columbia Records but early enough to get a nickel plated chassis - only seen on 1965 models..
While it isn't a trait that changes the tone, it is one that will likely bring longevity to the amp. The plating prevents corrosion that you'll find inside other Fenders - a white, dusty build up. Corrosion can weaken the electrical connection between components and the chassis (which serves as a ground point). Over time, this can lead to intermittent signal loss, crackling, failing pots - irritating stuff! This is a great one for gigging.
The amp functions perfectly. It has seen beneficial service, responsibly performed. The filter cap can and grounded power cable were replaced prior to the amp's arrival here. I continued with the bypass caps, housing the new ones in the old cardboard covers.
The speaker is a Fat Jimmy vintage serials ceramic, a quality speaker that suits the amp well. There are no other changes.
The original footswitch is included.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
