This beautiful 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb has all the good stuff: original transformers, original Jensen speaker, and a full compliment of vintage tubes. The original footswitch is also included. The cabinet is marked with the initials of Sam Hutton (the grease paint $ on the inside, bottom panel).
The amp has been serviced, featuring professional installation of the filter capacitor, the electrolytic bypass caps, the bias cap, and one coupling cap. The power cable has been upgraded to a grounded replacement. A bias potentiometer was installed, not invasively.
The 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb Black Panel is a sought-after vintage tube amp that delivers legendary Fender clean tones, lush spring reverb, and warm tube-driven tremolo in a compact and portable combo format. With its original AA764 circuit, vintage Jensen speaker, and classic blackface cosmetics, this amp embodies the golden era of Fender amplification.
Producing approximately 12–15 watts of all-tube power through a single 10" speaker, the Princeton Reverb is ideal for studio recording, home practice, and small club gigs. It responds beautifully to pedals and guitar dynamics, offering sparkling cleans and smooth, organic breakup when pushed. Collectors and players alike prize these amps for their tone, vintage authenticity, and build quality.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
