This Music Man 112 RD Sixty Five has been around the world and lives to tell the tale!

The amp looks rough, but it works perfectly!  Handles were added to the side.  A Utah speaker was swapped in at some point.  The speaker basket is deeper than the original.  The chassis bumps up against it if you try to install the chassis in its original position, so new screw holes were added to allow the original chassis strap bolts through the top of the amp to hold the chassis, about 1/3 of an inch from its original position.  The back of the amp, the fust holder in particular, are still within the back edge profile of the amp, protected from impact.

The amp runs well.  We cleaned the pots and the tube sockets, tested the tubes and ran it through its paces.

Transformers are original.

A great sounding road beast!

We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
