This is one of several Polytone amps we recently purchased from a local jazz musician.  This Mini Brute II has seen some gigs but is in good shape and works perfectly.

Here's some web-scraped info on the amp for you:

The Polytone Mini Brute II is a solid-state guitar amplifier, renowned for its warm, clean tones, especially favored by jazz musicians. This 100-watt combo amp, featuring a 12-inch speaker, is compact yet powerful, delivering a smooth, rounded sound that brings out the natural tone of the guitar. Players appreciate its simplicity—controls include a basic EQ (bass, mid, treble), master volume, and reverb. Though there's a distortion channel, it's widely considered subpar, with many users opting for external pedals for overdrive effects instead.

Key features include a line-out, headphone jack, external speaker output, and effects loop, allowing for flexible setup options. The Mini Brute II is especially popular with jazz guitarists for its ability to produce a rich, clean sound without overwhelming low-end boost, which allows the guitar’s natural tone to shine through. Some players note that the speaker quality could benefit from an upgrade, especially at higher volumes, where it can slightly affect sound clarity.

This amp’s compact and durable build makes it a reliable choice for gigging musicians who need easy transport and a clean, consistent tone for genres like jazz and blues
