We purchased a large collection recently with most of the guitars and basses being in similarly near mint condition as this Fender American Vintage '62 P Bass Reissue from 1998.

The bass looks really sharp in black with one of the nicest modern Fender tortoise pickguards I've seen.

Close inspection of the bass made us think that perhaps the nut was changed, but it seems odd that it would be, considering the condition of the rest of the instrument.

The rest of the bass is definitely original with no changes, repairs of issues.  It set up perfectly, and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustment.

Included is an original Fender gig bag and the paperwork that came with the bass from Fender.
