Epiphone E230TD Casino 1967 Sparkling Burgundy
$7,995.99No sales tax for customers outside California.
This 1967 Epiphone Casino is a real looker, and a rare guitar indeed. 484 non-vibrato, double pickup models were made in 1967. Sparkling Burgundy was a custom color, and there just aren't that many out there. A local customer bought it back in the early to mid 70s - it has been hiding out here in Chico, CA ever since.
The guitar is all original with the exception of possibly one knob. The pickguard has curled up - less like a Pringle, more like a taco shell. It is included in the case, along with the mounting hardware.
Sparkling Burgundy guitars are usually faded to an orange color. This example maintains its deeper-than-candy-apple hue. There is wear here and there, but overall the guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition.
The frets are low on Gibson and Epiphone guitars from this era, and the original frets on the guitar do show wear.
The case appears to be original.
