This Fender Heavy Relic Strat was made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of West LA Music.  It is a beauty in Sonic Blue!

The guitar shows lots of wear that added some true character to the piece.  It might be a bit much for some, but it is a killer player and a head turner as well.  

The guitar appears to have been stashed immediately at the point of original purchase.  The frets look new.  There are no changes, repairs or issues.  

We found it interesting that one of the three original pickups is signed: AY - it is an Abigail Ybarra, hand-wound pickup in the neck position.  The other two are original for sure - all the solder joints are untouched, and they are black-bottom pickups.

I've enjoyed putting a little time on this one.  I usually gravitate to the lighter relic jobs, but the color got me first, and the playability is spot on.  It is a really good guitar!

The certificate of authenticity is included, as is the original Fender strap, hang tag, and all the case candy.

Shipping policy:
