Gibson Custom Shop Historic Les Paul '57 LPB-3 Black Beauty Reissue 2004

We've had a somewhat steady supply of early 2000s Gibson Custom Shop guitars recently.  They're always really good guitars.  This 2004 '57 Reissue Black Beauty Les Paul is no exception.

The guitar has aged naturally and quite nicely.  I bought it from the original owner's son.  It was clear that they both loved the guitar, and I see why.

The two played the guitar, but took care of it at the same time.  The frets are still full and I assume they've been dressed because there isn't any pitting.

The neck feels perfect, and plays perfectly as well, with low action.  It is chunky, a little fatter at the first fret than an R9.

The guitar is completely original with no repairs.  There is one area on the side of the headstock that I missed when I picked it up because it blends right in.  It kind of looks like a small, burnt area.  I'm not sure how the heck it happened, or if it really was singed or maybe it reacted with a strap in the case or something.

There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
