This 1997 Gibson Les Paul is a Limited Edition, built to spec for the Japanese distributor, Yamano.

Yamano guitars are akin to editions you see for CME, Wildwood and others.  The distributor purchased a ton of Gibson inventory, and built the business to a level that they could ask for specific models.  Some say they even had the advantage of getting better woods, etc.

This guitar is a killer.  A Les Paul with P-90s is something else.  It just drives an amp differently than a humbucker loaded guitar.

The instrument looks like it was barely used.  Frets are tall and clean.  There are a few small chips on the end of the headstock - a place to look when you are fully checking out a clean guitar.  You can't call it mint if it has received even a small bonk or two up there!

The body and back of the neck are similarly clean, with just a few small dings and signs of careful use.

While the guitar leans to an early 50s style Les Paul with the P90s, you get a stopbar and ABR1 bridge for great tone and intonation.  The neck is close in thickness to a 1959 reissue LP.

The guitar set up perfectly and plays like a dream.  The truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustments, if needed.  There are no changes, repairs, or issues with the guitar whatsoever.

The original hardshell case is included.
