This 1956 Fender Deluxe 8 String Console Steel in its original Blonde finish is a stunning example of mid-century Fender steel craftsmanship. Built with a solid ash body and single coil pickup, this lap steel delivers the rich, singing sustain and sparkling clarity that defined classic country, Hawaiian, and western swing recordings. The wide string spacing and smooth playability make it ideal for both traditional and experimental steel players.

Featuring original case, legs, electronics, and finish, this USA-made vintage Fender is a collector-grade piece with iconic tone and timeless style.

The steel is all original with the exception of the metal nut, which was milled by a previous customer.  The first attempt failed as the string spacing was off.  We turned the nut 45 degrees, re-drilled it and slotted new string slots.  It works perfectly now.
