SOLD - Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Historic Reissue LPR8S R8, 2016

Here's a fine example of recent Gibson Custom Shop greatness.

The guitar is all original, sporting a Sunrise Tea Burst finish and a tasteful flame top.

Hand-sprayed Nitro lacquer finish, hide glue neck construction, Vintage Style-No Tubing truss rod, long tenon neck joint and, Custom Bucker pickups, CTS pots and a lightweight aluminum stopbar are all standard features on 2016 R8s.

This particular example is extremely clean with no notable dings, just light surface swirls here and there.  

Tone and playability are as you would expect, and the beefy 1958 neck profile is just what the doctor ordered!

Neck thickness specs vary depending on technique.  I measure neck thickness behind the fret with machinist calipers.

Neck thickness at 7th fret: .962"

Neck thickness at 12th fret: .993"
