It is widely known that the Ibanez guitars from this period are well made pieces that play really well, as is the case for this guitar. The model was made for just two years, making it somewhat difficult to find examples for sale.
The maple and mahogany body and neck lend to the resonance of the instrument. The neck has a nice profile with a 9.5" radius fretboard made of rosewood, and it is neither too thick nor too thin. There is great access all the way up to the 24th fret.
The original Ibanez pickups were replaced with EMG designed humbuckers and a coil tap appears to have been added.
The original case is included, showing some wear but still in good shape.
