Well, we're just killing it in the amp department, I must say!  Just tried this out through our Sampson era Matchless 2x12" with a 1954 Reissue Les Paul.  Wow!

These Tone King amps smoke!  You get 20 perfect watts of classic American (Fender) tones with flexibility.  There is big reverb and thick tremolo onboard, foot-switchable.  There's also an attenuator built in, which is handy, but the thing is that you get really great sound at reasonable levels without it.  With it you can tame the amp way down if you must.

Other cool features: Rhythm Chain switch on the back that disables the attenuator when the rhythm channel is in operation and the HF COMP switch that "tailors the high frequency “presence” as desired" according to Tone King.  I desire MAX over Normal on the HF COMP!

The amp looks new, no joke.  It comes in the original box with the original footswitch/cable.

Tone King's headline description:

For players that prefer mixing and matching their amps and speakers, Tone King offers the Imperial MKII head. You’ll find the same spanky blackface-style voice and‘50s-era tweed grit as the combo, but you can mate the head with your favorite speaker combination. And with modern appointments, such as an onboard Ironman II power attenuator, and tube-driven effects, the Imperial MKII head is the perfect old-school platform for modern players.
