Here we have a Gibson Mastertone RB-250 banjo in very good condition.

The previous owner installed a really cool, non invasive, EMG pickup system.  Also added were two Keith D Tuners.  The final upgrade was a really nice Superior hardshell case.

The frets show some wear, but the banjo seems perfectly playable as it sits.  The instrument has seen some use, but it is in great shape.  There is a small crack in the neck heel that looks very stable and not a concern.

The original truss rod cover is gone.  The previous owner had one made with his name on it, apparently cut from some sort of shell material.  There is another like it that is engraved with the word "Special".  A third custom truss rod cover is included, inlaid with a hummingbird and flower.  One of the resonator screws is not original.

A sweet strap is included, installed on the instrument.  There is a nice banjo tuner in the case as well.

A great performance package.
