Fender Concert Amp 6G12-A Brown Tolex 1962

This beautiful 1962 Fender Concert amp arrived recently.  What a beauty, and an amazing sounding amp!

The amp is in excellent condition, cosmetically and functionally.  This is the perfect one to grab as a keeper.  It has it all!

The tolex, handle, grille, transformers, knobs, footswitch, and gold Oxford speakers are all original.  Actually, the handle on the amp currently is a repro and the original, unbroken one is included.  Using the original handle would end up breaking it.

Beneficial service has been done on the amp, including a filter cap update and  a grounded power cable swap.  The coupling caps, the bias cap, and bias diode have been updated - more routine maintenance - as well as a little work in the tremolo portion of the circuit (typically needed in amps of this era).  

10" speakers are so right for guitar.  Four of them is a force to be reckoned with.  

Just to be clear - you don't have to crank this amp to get the warmth, but when you do it rips!

Someone made a really cool, padded cover that is included with the amp.

We will ship this amp in two boxes - one for the chassis and one for the cab.  This will insure that the weight of the transformers doesn't distort the chassis if handled roughly in shipping.  Reassembly is required, but it is very simple.  Shipping will be a bit steep.
