We've had this amp for a bit as it needed some work and got buried in my restoration amp queue. I went through it and changed out caps that needed replacement, along with two resistors. I retained the old parts and they'll be shipped with the amp.
Everything else is stock, right down to the working, original, Jensen 10" field coil speaker.
The amp runs nicely and sounds really warm. It doesn't roar, but it sounds great. I imagine that hitting it with a hot lap steel pickup it might overdrive some, but that's not really the point with these amps.
This is now one of two near mint BR-9 amps we have in the shop. This one even has the original cover!
