I was very pleasantly surprised with the sound I got out of this Cordovox Leslie unit.  I didn't have high expectations going in, but the two settings it offers both sound wildly cool.

Setup is easy.  Simply plug a speaker cable into one of the jacks inside the back lid.  There are holes where you can route your cable so the back lid can shut during operation.

The unit is always on, and there are two organ-style rocker switches on the top that activate the rotary mechanism. One setting is a slow, ambient swirl effect, the Main Chorus Reverb switch.  The Leslie Trem switch ramps the speed of the rotary device to a high rate.  I imagine that an enterprising soul could work up a footswitch - a feat that is beyond my technical abilities.

The unit works just as it should.  It came to us fully functional and did not need service.  I did not dig in to see what type of speaker is in the unit, but I think it is safe to assume that it is original.

Due to the nature of the unit, I cannot guarantee that it will not need work after shipping.  There are moving parts and a drive belt that I assume could be dislodged in shipping.  Sold as it if you can't meet up in person to try it out and make a purchase.

If the unit hangs around for a while it will be in our booth at the San Rafael and Orange County guitar shows in January.
