The previous owner of this guitar applied some changes in an attempt to improve it, thankfully without numerous destructive changes to the structure and originality of the guitar.

We removed the modern Kluson locking tuners, which had required a slight widening of the post holes - the only change to the structure of the guitar.  The original tuners came along with the guitar, so we put them back on.

An aftermarket bridge had been applied, again with no permanent changes to the guitar.  It raised the strings to the point that some thick shims had to be added to the neck pocket.  We re-introduced the bridge, dropped the shims and it plays much better - like it should.  

Basically, this is a Coronado.  It plays better than most.  It really didn't need to be messed with.  Luckily the original parts were included. 

The guitar has been professionally refretted.  The old frets are even retained in the case.

The case is not original.
