This 1963 Jaguar is all original and shows wear that'll allow you to just go ahead and play the heck out of it without worry.
Most of the wear is just finish checking. The guitar wasn't played to death, so the frets are in nice shape. We gave them a polish and addressed a high fret or two, so they're really good. The guitar plays great, and of course it sounds wonderful.
The guitar is from early in 1963. Note the 1/63 body date under the tremolo and the Nov 62 neck date. The pots also date from 1962, and the bridge shows the Patent Pending stamp that is present on those from the first year of production.
All solder joints are original - all the parts are as well. Included in the original case is the hang tag that came with the guitar. The case has some mustiness. You can see that it was subject to some moisture at some point, which affected the hang tag and likely accelerated the finish checking. There are no other negative side effects however.
The neck is straight and there is room for future truss rod adjustment, if needed.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
