The earlier Made in Mexico Fender product is really, really nice as proven by this 2002 Jazz Bass. These always sell really quickly because players get it - this is a viable player at a price that just can't be beat.
We thoroughly check out all our instruments, whether they are ultra-rare or not. This bass was proven to be all-original with no issues. The truss rod was checked and there is room for future adjustment. Frets are in great shape.
Overall condition is excellent. There is a typical surface-only/finish-only crack in the treble side of the neck heel. You'll find this on so many Fenders, vintage, recent, US made or import. There is no damage to the wood or to the stability of the instrument.
Comes with a hardshell case.
