I absolutely love a good P Bass.  This one is light and so comfortable to play.  

I play guitar, but when I have an old P bass in the shop I find myself drawn to it.  The last couple of evenings I have grabbed it and played it, unplugged, and it just feels amazing and is resonant enough to have a sound without amplification.  The flatwound strings on it seem to add to the appeal of sitting there in the empty shop, pretending I'm decent at playing bass!

This one is such a great player.  The neck is perfection. It is all original with nice frets and just the right amount of wear.

The body was refinished in a virtually perfect version of Fiesta Red.  Whomever did the work really nailed it.

All the parts are original, electronics too, with gray bottom pickups and pots with 1965 date codes, and a neck stamp from April of 1965.  

The case is also original.
