This Wildwood 10 Journeyman Tele is in the same condition as it came from the factory, but for about $1100 less.

Weighing in at under 6 pounds, 15 ounces with a very comfortable and slim neck, it is a perfect everyday player.  Wildwood Guitars came up with the idea of adding a 10" radius to Custom Shop Strats and Teles for the playability a slightly flatter fretboard can provide.  The neck is just a hair under .80" thick at the 1st fret, which falls in line with actual 1959 Fender necks that tended to be slimmer than those from years before and after.

The Journeyman series of guitars is nicely, but not overly, aged.  The back of the neck on this particular guitar is more worn that most Journeyman Relics I've come across, but the body is about what I'm used to - enough relic work to give it a cool vibe but not so much that it looks like it is trying too hard.

The guitar is 100% original and is loaded with Fender hand wound pickups by Josefina Campos who apprenticed under famed Fender pickup winder Abigail Ybarra. Ybarra passed all her 60 years of knowledge down to Josefina, who apprenticed for years before assuming her current role as Master Pickup Winder at the Fender Custom Shop, effectively making her one of the most sought-after talents in the business.

Included is the original hardshell case and all the case candy, COA, traveler form - you name it.

A beautiful guitar!
