I picked this ES up at a guitar show, and once it hit my booth this was the guitar that everyone talked about. The amazing looks are matched by killer playability and tone.
I sold the guitar about 6 weeks ago and it was my first neck break incurred in shipping in about 17 years. The headstock was re-glued by my local luthier and we've had it strung up here at the shop for about 4 weeks to make sure we could play it, tune it, hang it on a guitar hanger and such and it is all good. The clean, hairline crack did not go completely through and it offered the perfect regluing surface.
This beauty originally passed through our verification process with flying colors, and it has again, post-repair. Frets are in excellent condition with very light play wear. It set up really nicely with great action, and the truss rod was checked and is fully functional.
The gig bag that came with it prior has been released from duty. A new Gator hardshell case is now included.
You're going to love this one - it's a keeper for sure!
