No sales tax for customers outside California. For the time being, I'm going to hold off on selling this one. We have a couple guitar shows coming up and selling this guitar in person is a better option if the opportunity arises, and I might just move something else so I can keep it.
It isn't every day that you find a Flying V in this condition, especially a mid-70's model.
No cracks, no breaks, no changes - no excuses. This is a good one!
This V was made in '75, the first year back as a production model since 1970. The first year saw 1472 of these made in natural mahogany finish, with only 1931 made in natural in natural in all of the 70s. There were just over 4000 Vs made in all available colors from 1970 through 1979. I unscientifically figure that at least 25% of those probably have Dimarzio pickups in them, 2 to 5% have added Kahler tremolos, 30+% have broken headstocks, and many have other issues. Do some math and you can see that this will probably work out well over the long haul.
The guitar has been meticulously cared for. It looks as good as it does in the pictures - better actually.
Frets are original, the typical 70's wide/low ones, but they're in great shape. The neck is perfect.
Not a solder or screw is changed and the original case is included.
