This highly collectable V is a player's guitar, with a stable neck repair that has served the previous owner well through years of play.

Aside from the clean headstock repair, the guitar retains all its original electronics and hardware.  There was another pickguard on it at one time, evidenced by a few extra pickguard holes, all of which are covered when the guitar is assembled.  There is also an extra strap button screw hole in the point of the V closest to the bridge (see pics).  We document guitars like this with plenty of pictures so you know exactly what condition the guitar is in.

The guitar plays perfectly, with original frets that have plenty of life left in them.  The Tim Shaw era pickups sound just as advertised, and are one part of what brought Gibson back from the dark days of the 70's into this era, which I view as a rebirth of the company and a return to quality instrument making.

The original case is included.
