Gibson J-50 ADJ with Hang Tag, Gibson Pick Holder, strap 1957 Natural

This guitar is pretty amazingly special - the cleanest 50s Gibson acoustic I've ever seen, a 1957 J-50 ADJ.
The guitar came to us from the grandson of the original owner. It was very well kept for certain. The original shape is in remarkably excellent shape, showing one area where some water got to it at some point. The guitar must have been in the case at the time - there is a small area of finish on the lower bout that picked it up, but it is small and inconsequential.
One remarkable thing is that the guitar has never had a neck reset, and it doesn't need one. The action is perfect.
The guitar hadn't been played in years, which was clear by the tarnish on the original frets. We gave them a polish and were pleased to see how new they look. The fretboard is remarkable as well - there is no wear, no pitting at all like you'd expect to see on a nearly 70 years old acoustic.
All the parts are original, we just had to add some tuning machine buttons as the old ones had completely disintegrated.
There are no cracks or repairs. The bridge is solid.
the original case contains the original tri-fold hang tag and the Gibson pick holder pouch.
This is the one!
