Black guitars.  An acquired taste?  I guess so.  Brand new, black acoustic guitars don't really jump out.  They're all shiny and look intimidating in a way, like they're just going to end up all dull, scratched and maybe not so cool.

But, with some age and a quality finish, a black acoustic guitar starts to take on its own personality, even if they're really clean like this one.  When the clear coat starts to turn and yellow, that's when they really start looking cool. 

This one is on its way.  In person, it looks rich and classy, the finish is deep!  Its in amazingly clean condition, like the other guitars that came in with it.  The case is in similarly excellent condition.

The guitar set up well with reasonable action and good saddle height.  I've found it to be typical for this era of Guild acoustics to be in need of neck resets, but this one is good to go.  The frets do show some wear, which shows that the previous owner not only cared for the guitar, he actually played it.
