I have always dug these early 80s Ibanez guitars.  They are quality pieces that play great, and they are excellent platforms for pickup experimentation.

This guitar is in better condition than many you see out there, but with some dings here and there and some light, evenly dispersed fret wear.  The frets don't need work, there is plenty of life left for years of play.

The neck feels and plays great.  We applied a new set of 10-46 strings, set the action and checked the truss rod to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustments.  The action is low and very comfortable.

The original pickups were replaced with Duncans.  The neck pickup is a Jazz Neck, and the bridge pickup lost its label, so I assume it is a Jazz Bridge.

There is a coil tap switch, but it is wired as a kill switch currently, which is actually pretty handy.

Included is a foam-lined, soft/hard case.
