Here we have a 1964 Ludwig Hollywood shell kit in gold sparkle with great color and condition on the wrap.
Included is a 22x14" kick drum, a 16"x16" floor tom and a 12"x8" rack tom.
Hardware included: stock cymbal stand that mounts on the kick drum.
The kick drum has some light modifications;
- The tom mount bracket is a newer model (the original is included) - the hole for the tom mount was altered slightly, but the four screw holes were not altered and the original parts were retained.
- The legs/spurs were changed for more modern repros. The holes for the legs were widened slightly, but the mount holes remain the same
- An additional mount, like the one used for the cymbal stand, was added to the kick drum shell, which could be used to add a cowbell mount.
- Floor tom legs are original, as is the tom mount off the kick drum
The other drums are not altered.
Hardware is in great shape with minimal pitting.
Serial numbers fall in the 1964 range.
