This Silvertone Model 674 Aristocrat from 1952 came to us needing some attention.  We had the neck re-set.  The bridge was raised as well by adding some ebony material to the base and the saddle.  The work was nicely done and it improved the neck angle, giving the guitar more punch and bigger tone..

The guitar was also refretted at some point.  We're going to do a fret level and crown to bring everything together.  There is a little fret buzz in the lower register that I'm sure we can take care of with a level and crown.  It plays really well versus other period Silvertone archtops I've played and it will just get better with the fret dress.  The original Kluson tuners are in place with new tuner buttons installed.  The neck is fat!

It is a really beautiful guitar in person.  The finish color is strong and well preserved.  All the parts are original and there are no cracks or structural issues.  The solid spruce top is gorgeous.

There is no case.  We will double-box the guitar for shipment.
