This interesting piece is a turn of the century (late 1800s) Johann Stauffer style "romantic" parlor guitar.
The piece is a project, and it is definitely a conversation starter with stunning looks and remarkable woods. Look at that flamed maple back!
There is damage to the back, lower bout. The neck angle is also tough - it isn't really playable as-is.
The solid spruce top is in good condition with no cracks. The neck is fully intact, along with the original friction tuners. The bridge is also original and it is secure on the top.
Ships in a modern chipboard case. Don't worry - we know how to get this to you safely.
